Buhari Arrives For Inspection Of Facilities At Presidential Villa

One day before his inauguration, the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, this morning arrived in the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Buhari is ready for a tour of Nigeria’s seat of power ahead of his inauguration on May 29, Friday.

The president-elect and some of his assistants arrived at the villa at precisely 11am.

Jonathan and Buhari first held a closed-door meeting at the former’s office.

The presidency had announced a while ago that the outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan would be leading Buhari round the villa.

Jonathan is also expected to hand over the briefs collected by MDAs and government agencies to the incoming administration after inspection of facilities at the presidential villa.
